Today Pastor Brink will explain to us how an ancient promise of God was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost – a promise and a reality that we could experience in no other way than through the Holy Spirit.  It’s called “The Gift of a New Heart.”  Do you have a heart after God today?  If not, then you need a “heart transplant.”  The good new is: The Doctor is in the house!  Listen carefully today to see what Jesus is doing and saying to you.  Maybe you know someone else who needs this message too.

Message:  Jeremiah 31:31-34

Pastor Brink will bring us the Pentecost message from God’s Word. It’s not just about history – what happened on Pentecost long ago; it’s also about things that God is doing today – in and around us, in our church, and literally all over the world!

Message: Acts 2:1-4

Pastor Bonny will bring us the Pentecost message from God’s Word about one of the many important jobs of the Holy Spirit: giving us assurance of our salvation. The spirit testifies that we are children of God — this is how we can be sure that we are His!

Message: Romans 8:12-17

Romans 8:12-17

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

On this Pentecost Sunday, we remember how Jesus poured out his Holy Spirit upon the church – a gift that keeps on giving. But today there seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding the work of the Spirit. How do you know if you “have the Holy Spirit?” What does it mean to be “filled with the Holy Spirit?” In this message Pastor Brink suggests thinking of the Holy Spirit as our friend, God-with-us, our traveling companion through the journey of life.  Specifically, Pastor Dan unwraps the commands of Ephesians 4:30 (“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit”) and of Ephesians 5:18 (“Instead, be filled with the Spirit”), suggesting practical ways to cultivate the presence of God in our lives today.

Message: Ephesians 4:25-32 and 5:15-20

Pastor Dan Brink brings us Gods word on this Pentecost Sunday, the day when the promised Holy Spirit was poured out on all believers and the New Testament church was born. It’s also the day the All-Nations Mission of God was launched.

Message: Ephesians 1:3-14
