Today Pastor Bonny will focus on the amazing grace that Jesus showers on sinners – including you and me. How can we respond to such undeserving love? With gratitude that permeates our lives, our attitudes, our behaviors, and the way we treat one another. Such generous grace generates humble thanksgiving and a commitment to live our lives in a way that pleases God and grows us in to mature, contagious Christians.

Bible Reading: John 8:1-11

What is the best way to witness to others about the good news of Jesus? Through love, with humility and gentleness, in relationship, as we do life together. That’s the “family method” that the Apostle Paul lays out, as he compares himself to a young child, a nursing mother, and a loving father as he ministered among the people of his church plant in Thessalonian. Our homes and church should be a place where people take notice of the way we love one another out of our love for Christ.

Bible Verse: I  Thessalonians 2:6-12

This morning Pastor Bonny will guide us through a beautiful prayer of the Apostle Paul for the church – one that appeals to God the Father to help God’s people grasp the incredible, unfathomable, immeasurable love of God through Christ Jesus. We are God’s dearly loved people, but do we always believe that in our souls? Do we act like cherished and treasured children of God as we live our daily lives? Does the love of God flavor our interaction with others? Listen well and deeply to Paul’s passionate plea that we would internalize the amazing love of God.
Bible Verse: Ephesians 3:14-21

Today Pastor Bonny will be continuing our summer sermon series called “Meet Me at the Mountain” with an encouraging passage from Psalm 84 that focuses on Mount Zion, the city of our God. The psalmist encourages us to keep our eyes on meeting God in the heavenly city, and drawing from God’s strength as we make the journey. Even when we pass through the valleys – the tough stuff of life – we trust in God to be our guide, and to never lose sight of his mountain climbers

Bible Reading: John 4:13-14

What many people in today’s world long for is to be noticed – for people around us to stop and really look, listen, and show that they care or even know that we’re there.  Today Pastor Bonny will be preaching about Jesus and how he took the time to notice those who felt “un-noticed” – specifically a woman who had been suffering for more than a decade.  She wanted to remain anonymous, but Jesus searched until he found her and blessed her.  Jesus notices you today and offers you his life-giving touch.  After encountering Jesus, we can give notice to others in his name and invite them into the loving family of God.

Bible Reading: Mark 5:24b-34

Today Pastor Bonny concludes our series about People Who Loved Jesus.  She will focus on Mary Magdalene, who loved and followed Jesus faithfully and was appointed to be a witness to the apostles of his resurrection!

Message: John 20:11-18

Today Pastor Bonny is continuing our teaching on the book of II Timothy, which is actually a letter from the Apostle Paul to Timothy, his spiritual son.  Today we hear the Apostle Paul challenging God’s people to remember Jesus, the resurrected one who secured our salvation and gives us the task of spreading the gospel,  and the one for whom we are willing to sacrifice our all.  There is no other truth worth living or dying for!

Message: II Timothy 2:8-15

Today Pastor Bonny is continuing our teaching on the book of II Timothy, which is actually a letter from the Apostle Paul to Timothy, his spiritual son.  Today we hear the Apostle Paul challenging God’s people to give their best to the Master, to be holy – set apart for service to God.  In order to do that, we may need to give up some things that distract us and give ourselves more fully to his cause.  We need to consider the eternal plan of God and how we fit that plan, and then be able to sincerely say, “Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee.”

Message: II Timothy 2:20-21

Today Pastor Bonny continues our new teaching series entitled A Life That Counts Forever, based on the book of 2 Timothy (a letter from Paul to Timothy).  Today we – with Timothy – are urged to both guard and share the precious gift of salvation through Christ with others.  We are saved by God’s grace, which is good news that elicits shouts rather than whispers, boldness rather than timidity.

Message: II Timothy 1;3-14
