Today we wrap up our summer series, “Kingdom Come!”  And today we will be reminded of the message that rings out in every book of the New Testament: Jesus is alive! Jesus is King! Jesus is coming again to make all things new!  Hopefully these truths will not only shape what we believe, but also what we value and how we live. Let’s live today as children of the future!

Bible Verse: Ephesians 1:3-14

Today is the Day of Pentecost, when The Holy Spirit was poured out on all believers.  In this message we will examine why we need The Holy Spirit, what it means to be “filled with the Spirit,”  and how we can cooperate with God to make that happen.

Bible Verse: Ephesians 5:15-20

Today Pastor Brink continues our series on Biblical Foundations.  The goal of this series is to help us understand the Bible at a deeper level, and hopefully in a manner that enriches our Christian walk.  Today we will tackle a mind-bending topic – namely, the Bible’s teaching on divine election.  To what extent can we even understand this, and what positive impact could it have on our faith and piety?  This is a good day to keep your Bible open and your thinking cap on.  There are some dimensions of today’s message that we will likely never fully understand in this lifetime – perhaps not even in eternity.  That’s because God is bigger than we are.  But there are also some things God might say that could melt your heart to tears and encourage you on your journey faith.

Bible Verse:  Ephesians 1:3-6

Today Pastor Bonny continues our series on Biblical Foundation.  The design of this series is t teach some basic doctrines that will help us understand the Bible and the Christian walk at a deeper level.  It also gives us an expanded vocabulary for understanding and sharing the gospel.  We recently focused on Sin and Salvation; today we will consider the natural outgrowth of a changed heart and life:  Grateful Service.  We do good works not to earn salvation, but because God so graciously saved us.

Bible Passage:  Ephesians 2:8-10

Today Pastor Brink resumes our series on “Biblical Foundations.” The idea is not simply to study a single text or a book of the Bible, but to examine some foundational Bible doctrines that help us understand God, ourselves, and the world. Today we will consider a topic that many would like to ignore: The Sin Problem. But to ignore the Bible’s teaching on sin might be to our everlasting peril.

Bible Reading: Ephesians 2:1-10

This morning Pastor Bonny will guide us through a beautiful prayer of the Apostle Paul for the church – one that appeals to God the Father to help God’s people grasp the incredible, unfathomable, immeasurable love of God through Christ Jesus. We are God’s dearly loved people, but do we always believe that in our souls? Do we act like cherished and treasured children of God as we live our daily lives? Does the love of God flavor our interaction with others? Listen well and deeply to Paul’s passionate plea that we would internalize the amazing love of God.
Bible Verse: Ephesians 3:14-21

Our Bible adventure today is well-suited not only to what we are celebrating at Rosewood today, but also to the brokenness and the crying need of our society. Pastor Brink will explore the dimensions of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. We will also learn about (and hopefully embrace) our role today in God’s great work of reconciliation

Bible Verse:  Ephesians 2:11-20

Today Pastor Brink continues our summer sermon series, “Jesus at Work Today.” Part of Jesus’ work today is equipping God’s people for ministry. That Means: you’re not supposed to be simply a recipient of grace; you are also called to be a channel of grace!  Each Believer has the Spirit of God and is gifted to be the work of God.  Perhaps the thought of “more work” ain’t initially appealing, but believe me – there’s nothing better than serving Jesus & blessing others!  It’s when we give that we receive the most.  And it’s in doing Jesus’ work that we often meet Jesus.

Message:  Ephesians 4:7-13

This morning, Pastor Brink will build for last Sunday’s message into a little series on some of the “Holy Habits” that God wants us to do on a regular basis.  The series is called “Stuff Christians Do.”  As we listen each week, we should all be asking ourselves questions like this: Is this something that I’m actually doing?  How Could I do this better or more consistently?  Maybe you need God’s help to do these things.  Or maybe you need mentors or accountability partners within the Christian community.  The point is God wants us to be “doers of the Word, not hearers only, deceiving ourselves”

Message: Ephesians 6:10-20

Today Pastor Bonny continues our summer series, “Flying Upside Down!”  This has been our theme for Summer Family Nights too!  The point of this image is that Jesus takes the values of the world & turns them on their head.  Christianity is counter-cultural; we march to the beat of a different drum.  Each Sunday we are looking at some way in which we’re called to be a differnt from the world around us.

Message: Ephesians 2:11-22
