Today we continue our fall series, entitled “Body-Building 101.”  We’re talking about “The Body of Christ” – that is, the church.  Pastor Bonny will be talking about the importance of being there for one another, and some of the ways that we can encourage and spur one another on in the journey of faith.

Message: Hebrews 10:19-25

Last week Pastor Brink started a new sermon series for the Fall season.  It’s called “Body-Building 101.”  The body we are talking about, as you may have guessed, is “The Body of Christ” – that is, the church.  Today we will be looking at the biblical image of the church as a family.  And whether we grew up in a healthy family or not, there is in all of us a yearning to be loved, nurtured, accepted, respected, and protected.  God’s plan is that we would find such dear relationships when we become part of His family, the church.  This is more than just a theoretical discussion today.  This is something we need – a forever family.  And this is something you can find, if you haven’t already, at Rosewood Church.
Message: Romans 12:9-16

Today Pastor Brink begins “Body-Building 101” – a new Fall teaching series.  We will be talking, as you may already have guessed, about “The Body of Christ” – that is, the church.  Today we learn how important it is to God (and to us!) to be part of God’s family.  We need each other, and even if you’ve been hurt by others and have a hard time trusting, be assured that God loves you and made you to be part of a morally beautiful community.
Message: I Corinthians 12:12-27

Did you know that God made us to work?  Though some people might think of work as a curse, it’s actually a blessing – though a blessing that has been somewhat diminished by the weight of our sin and its effects.  Today Pastor Brink will talk about how to make the most of the daily labors to which God has called us – whether at school, home, office, or shop.  We’ll also talk about partnering with God to do His work in the world.
Message: Proverbs 10:5
