This morning Pastor Brink continues our studies on “Psalms That Sing to My Soul.”  Today we are looking at Psalm 73, a startlingly honest psalm which looks at the sin of envy, or coveting – something which God clearly forbids; but we are powerfully & subtly sucked into it anyway.  Envy robs us of peace & contentment and leaves us bitter.  It derails our gratitude to God and even our relationship with God. Psalm 73 is the psalmist’s testimony, the story of his personal battle with envy. Hopefully it will become our story too.

Message: Psalm 73

This morning Pastor Brink continues our studies on “Psalms That Sing to My Soul.”  Today we are looking at psalm 122, written by someone who loved to worship the Lord and who saw “going to church” not as a grim duty but as a golden opportunity!  He obviously loved God’s family, and had a sense that in worship he was “standing on holy ground” He prayed for the church and devoted his life to God’s cause.  Could those things be said of you?  What did this person know that so many have forgotten today?  We will find out today as we study Psalm 122, and hopefully we will catch the spirit.

This morning Pastor Bonny continues our studies on “Psalms That Sing to My Soul.” Today we are looking at psalm 103, which reminds us of the Lord’s boundless love and complete forgiveness for those who fear him. We are called to remember all of God’s benefits, obey his word, and praise him with all of our heart and soul.

Message: Psalm 103

This morning Pastor Brink continues our studies on “Psalms That Sing to My Soul.”  Today we are looking at Psalm 146,  Which asks some timely questions, like: “Who are you gonna trust?” “Who can you trust these days?” And “What is really praiseworthy?”  Here’s the deal: we will not have optimal joy for today or sufficient security for tomorrow until we learn the right answers to those questions, and embrace them.  This is a psalm that points us to who God is in a way that should change who we are.  He is morally beautiful.
