Today Pastor Bonny continues with our fall series, entitled “Live Like a Christian!”  The point is that many people are “nominal Christians,” meaning they claim to be a Christian but don’t live like one.  As a result they’re likely among the self-deceived whom Jesus describes in Matthew 7:21.  Today we will see that true followers of Jesus both receive the forgiveness of Jesus and pass it on freely to others.  We are called to bear with one another and to live at peace with each other.  As a forgiven and forgiving community, we stand out in the crowd. This is what the world needs to see – People who don’t just Jesus as their Savior, but who truly follow Him as Their Lord. Is your life a good advertisement for God?

Message: Colossians 3:12-17

Today Pastor Brink continues with our fall series, entitled “Live Like a Christian!” The point is that many people are “nominal Christians,” meaning they claim to be a Christian but don’t live like one. As a result they’re likely among the self-deceived whom Jesus describes in Matthew 7:21. Today we will see that true followers of Jesus place their lives under His authority. They do what he says. They obey even when they don’t understand. This is what the world needs to see people who don’t just want Jesus as their Savior, but who truly follow Him as their Lord.

Message: II Timothy 3:1-5, 14-17

Today Pastor Brink continues to Fall series we started last week, called “Live Like a Christian!” The point is to help us make sure we are not among the self-deceived whom Jesus talks about in Matthew 7:21. Are we really “walkin’ the walk,” and not just “talkin’ the talk”? The world needs to see the “the real deal” if we expect them to be attracted to faith in Christ, don’t you think? Is your life a good advertisement? Are you following Christ & living a distinctively Christian life?

Message: Matthew 16:21-28

Today Pastor Brink begins the fall season with a challenging new series, “Live Like a Christian!” One thing that cripples the Christian movement today and confuses the world is the scandal of “nominal Christianity.” That means many people are Christians “in name only.” Is that true of you? Or of someone you know? In this series we will learn what it means to “follow Christ,” and we will talk about some of the ways in which we should live distinctively Christian lives.

Message: Matthew 4:18-22

The Labor Day Weekend traditionally marks the end of summer and the unofficial beginning of the fall season. It’s the time when school starts, people settle in to work, & churches launch programs. Today Pastor will share with us a prayer from the Bible that we can pray for ourselves, our kids, each other, and for Christ’s church – The we will grow in Christ and that God’s purpose be fulfilled in us more and more.

Message: Colossians 1:9-14
